Illuminate offers a wide range of training solutions around the use of Drupal

For customers who have purchased a web site then we provide training on how to add content, text images and attachments to the site.  We also provide administration training so that our customers can manage their own sites without further costs being incurred.

Training courses available

Basic User Training

This 1/2 day course shows users how to create and edit content, by the end of the session the users willl be able to add and delete pages, create stories, add events and attach images and documents to the content.

Administrator Training Introduction

The training for the administrator centres on managing users and content within the site,  The Administrator will be able to create new users and assign rights so thet they can create content.  The administrator will also be able to edit any content and delete any pages - providing peace of mind.

The above training programmes are refined against the functionality built into the website

Advanced Administrator training

This session looks at the advanced options for an administrator and includes being able to configure and manage pre-installed modules.  Advanced user management and looks at the different content types available.

Franchise Partners

For our partners we also offer full training on the management of mulitple sites and the ability to install new modules and create a site from scratch including site appearance and functionality.

DROOL

Drool is DRupal tOOL, used to create drupal web sites and to allow the web master to create new sites. all aspects of site creation are covered on the courrse including domain names, DNS record setting and how to find and istall new modules to build the functionality of the site.

Skinning a site

The site skin is the colours and general appearance of the site, a good skin can make a site appear vibrant and intereing a poor skin can mean that people will stay away from the site.  This event looks at the design process from choosing an opensource design programme, to installing the skin onto a site.

Manging CSS

The CSS file controls such things as fonts and font sizes, positioning of screen elements and also how to create sites that are consistent in a range of popular browsers.
