The morning sessions.

Drupal in the sector

The first session was taken by Nick from illuminate and looked at how Drupal fits into the sector and at how skills can be harnessed throughout the sector to improve the viability of Drupal projects.

Accessibility

The highlight of the morning sessions was a discussion and workshop session looking at website accessibility. The session was lead by Richard Scott from Voluntary Action Leicester and considered ways of improving site accessibility and the implications of not considering accessibility from the very start of a web project.

Drool

An almost entirely successful demonstration of drool, written by Nick at illuminate, which simplifies the job of managing multiple Drupal sites.

Richard Sheppard from Silicon Meadow demonstrated how he has used the Views module to generate random blocks of content, either text or images. He used these two example sites: Foxhall Solutions, where random textimonials appear in the right hand block, and
